School Celebrations

Monday Assembly

Tuesday Assembly

We begin each week of learning with a spirit of welcome to all, recognizing important milestones and achievements, special days, feast and seasons. On Tuesday afternoon each class, on a rotational basis, is given the opportunity to present to the school an assembly celebration.
We look forward to the coming week in the spirit of our St Agnes Way. We honour our Australian heritage through raising our flag and singing our National Anthem. Students are then sent forth for exciting journeys of learning. We celebrate our St Agnes Vision by relating significant events and special messages of the week, recognizing our children's efforts with Awards and celebrating recent birthdays. Completion is gained as with enthusiasm the School stands to sing our St Agnes School Song.

Prayer Celebrations

Milestones on the St Agnes Way

A variety of contexts nurture our children in confidence in recoginzing the presence of God in daily circumstances, and in our identity, vision and relationships. The St Agnes Way inspires and guides all. We nurture older students as leaders through - Community Service, Leadership Days, Camps, House Leader and School Representative roles.
These include Class, Year level, Staff and whole School gatherings for Prayer to celebrate Eucharist and to nurture our vision, reflection and relationships. Students and their families' participate in our Parish's Sacramental Program which is recognized in Liturgies and Assemblies.

Once each term, a group of children judged to be living the St Agnes Way in a sustained and profound way, are recognised with the "Let You Light Shine Award". Each week Awards are given at Friday assembly to recognise steps in growing.
