Middle Schooling

Assessment & Reporting

At St Agnes the Upper Primary program is based on a middle schooling philosophy both in pedagogy and structure. Assessment at St Agnes is both formative and summative. Reporting process informs parents of a child's progress and helps set goals for the furture.
This takes into account the developmental learning needs of the young adolescent. For further information see the Brisbane Catholic Education position paper on Middle Schooling.
As part of our vision of learning, we are committed to keeping parents informed of their child's development. For information on how we achieve these goals please read about our St Agnes Reporting Process and the Reporting Framework.
