Last Wednesday, our Readers Cup team, consisting of Bronte, Mia, Jade and Tanna traveled to Bulimba State School. Unfortunately, Rosie was unable to join the team due to illness. The girls worked hard to prepare for the competition and did a fantastic job answering some very difficult questions about the five books that they had collectively read.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting author Samantha Wheeler, and listening to her speak about how she comes up with ideas for her novels, as well as what is involved in the writing and publishing process.

While our team didn't win, they had lots of fun participating and are to be congratulated on the incredible sportsmanship that they showed on the day
